New Year - New You

I'm looking forward to some big changes in my life this year.  As I stated in my last blog, I have been laid-off for more than a year.  Although this is true, I have learned so much about myself during this whole process.  One thing that I've learned is that I'm a fighter.  I can still go to job fairs and submit resumes online with the same zeal as if I will get the job.  My attitude has improved because without a positive attitude, you're lost.  Another thing that I've learned is to open my mind to learn new things.  So, I have learned how to make jewelry.  I'm not selling it or anything, it's just for fun.  I began to write blogs as a way to get things off my chest.  It really helps to express yourself every now and again.  At this time, I have a few job opportunities that I hope come through for me.

I just thank God for my husband who has been there without complaining from day one.  I hope that someday we can help other couples that face issues like this by telling them how we got through it.  The more I think about our future, the more excited I get that things are going to improve.  I've heard it said that "What don't kill you, will make you stronger."  I believe that with all of my heart.

I am going to read Becoming Pregnant - Overcoming Infertility the Natural Way with the hopes that this year is our year to become parents.  I'll definately post updates on that venture.

Until I express again...stay creative.
